Responsibilities

  • As an Engineer 2, you will be responsible for:
  • Translating technical requirements into complete designs within the CWI product line. You will manage multiple requests to ensure timely delivery aligned with customer needs and requirements. Each design must be functional, manufacturable, and reliable.
  • Designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools, primarily SolidWorks.
  • Performing engineering analyses, including stress, fatigue, thermal, and tolerance evaluations.

  • Required Qualifications
  • To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in downhole completions technologies.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Possess a solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
  • Be proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Have hands-on experience in design and analysis through academic or professional projects.
  • Have knowledge of detailing, materials, and standard manufacturing processes.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, and molding.
  • Understanding of quality tools such as FMEA or root cause analysis.
