Participate in audits and implement recommendations for improvements. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Provide actionable insights to management. Mentor and support junior accounting staff. Oversee their work and provide training and guidance as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes. Prepare and present financial reports and analyses as needed for management, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Crosstrain and serve as backup for bi-weekly corporate payroll processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
