Steel Construction Project Manager

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of project management experience within construction, steel fabrication, steel erection, or related industries.
• Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel construction practices, materials, methods, and installation procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform project-related calculations and conduct field verification when necessary.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience with scheduling platforms such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Familiarity with Tekla, Fabtrol, or similar construction management and detailing software.
• Knowledge of project cost control, quality assurance, and safety management practices.
• Experience participating in BIM coordination and clash detection processes.

Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Salary: $65,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Experience) Location: Hanover or Richmond - Fully Remote option available with travel to job sites throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia as needed. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Flexibility required for overtime and occasional Saturdays as project demands dictate. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of steel fabrication and erection projects. This role oversees assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved while maintaining effective coordination across internal teams and external partners.
