About the role
As an Healthcare Solutions Lead (HSL) you will be integrated into the Commercial Chapter, developing your activity in close collaboration with other chapters. With the main purpose to develop the business and position Roche as a strategic partner of choice, co-creating and contributing actively to market development, you will act as a first point of contact of the C-suite (decision makers, budget holders), service directors, procurement and laboratory management of public hospitals and private groups and other strategic stakeholders. Drive innovative projects by building a strong network with a broad set of stakeholders, maintaining deep knowledge of our portfolio, deep understanding of customer needs, vision and positioning, and of the market dynamics and trends. Actively contribute to strengthening Roche´s position in established strategic accounts, collaborating with other commercial team members and with other relevant internal stakeholders to pursue the full potential of the accounts, new business opportunities and transforming them into strategic initiatives. Partner with DSEs (Diagnostic Solutions Experts) to create the strategic account plans and be accountable for results achievements (P&L) in the assigned accounts, and to keep information updated in CRM and other management tools. Requirements
- To be successful as a Healthcare Solutions Lead, the following qualifications and capabilities are required:
- You have a Master's degree in Management, Marketing, Economics, Life Sciences or Engineering. An additional business management degree will be considered a plus.
- You are experienced in the healthcare business or related sectors, with business development and/or other commercial responsibilities.
- You have developed throughout your professional journey a strong network with relevant stakeholders within the healthcare sector, demonstrating ability to develop long term, trustworthy relationships.
- You understand the specificities of the healthcare sector (IVD preferential, but not mandatory) and how the relevant stakeholders connect to each other: from reimbursement, to funding of public and private sector, public tenders, value chain, etc.
- With an enterprise mindset, you demonstrate strategic consulting skills and ability to master a complex portfolio in a highly competitive and regulated market, particularly in areas of disruptive innovation (such as laboratory workflow, digital solutions and high medical value products).
- With the capacity to develop, lead and coordinate complex project management, you are open to innovation and you are eager to challenge the conventional and assume calculated risks.
- You are results-oriented, business driven, with strong analytical skills and expertise in strategic planning, account management, negotiation, contracting and problem-solving.
- With the ability to inspire, influence and persuade naturally (internally and externally), you demonstrate a strong customer orientation, resilience and sense of opportunity.
- You demonstrate leadership skills, learning agility, growth mindset, potential and willingness to learn and develop in the role.
- You're an excellent communicator, in both Portuguese and English, and you deliver impactful presentations.
- You are based in the Lisbon district and are expected to be 80% in field and 20% office based.
