  • SAP Reference Data Management for the Body Shop:

  • Corrective Action for Data Discrepancies: Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies in the SAP reference data affecting body shop operations. Work closely with IT, supply chain, and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Standardization of Data: Ensure that reference data for the body shop is standardized across systems and platforms to ensure consistency in operations.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Process Improvement for Data Flow: Evaluate and improve processes related to SAP reference data management in the body shop. Identify opportunities for improvement in data entry, management, and access to improve operational efficiency.
  • Automation of Data Handling: Work with the IT team to implement automated systems or processes for managing reference data, reducing manual errors, and speeding up data entry processes.
  • Lean and Six Sigma Principles: Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize data management processes, minimizing waste and increasing efficiency in the body shop's operations.
  • Optimization of Production and Material Flow: Collaborate with the body shop's production teams to ensure that SAP data (such as materials, parts, and tools) is aligned with production schedules to prevent bottlenecks or shortages in production.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work with IT Teams: Collaborate with IT departments to maintain and enhance the SAP system for reference data management. Ensure that any system changes or upgrades align with the body shop's operational needs.
  • Coordination with Production and Supply Chain: Work closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth coordination of materials, schedules, and data in the body shop. Ensure that reference data in SAP is always aligned with current production requirements.
