About the role
As the Manager, Sales and Operations Planning Navigator for North America Consumer Brands (NACB), you will be responsible for governing and enabling execution of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process across North America Consumer Brands to drive aligned business decisions, improve service, and optimize inventory and cost performance. You will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure a disciplined, integrated, and unbiased planning process, enabling better business decisions, improved service, and optimized inventory and cost outcomes. Responsibilities
- S&OP Governance and Process Adherence
- Ensure consistent execution of the global S&OP process across all NACB steps and cycles, including adherence to global standards, tools, and governance routines.
- Monitor process health through S&OP heatmap, KPIs, and adherence metrics; identify root causes of gaps and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
- Ensure S&OP outputs directly support business performance, including financials, service, forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and cost.
- Act as a key escalation point for cross-functional misalignment, ensuring issues are surfaced, resolved, and decisions are made within the S&OP cycle.
- Provide visibility to leadership on process health, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Integration and Facilitation
- Enable alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver a single, integrated plan.
- Facilitate fact-based discussions on risks, opportunities, and trade-offs; challenge assumptions to drive an unbiased demand and supply plan.
- Ensure seamless connection between S&OP steps, cycles, and outputs.
- Adoption, Change Leadership, Continuous Improvement
- Drive adoption of S&OP processes, tools, and capabilities (e.g., Kinaxis, Demand Sensing), identifying adoption gaps and defining clear action plans.
- Lead behavioral change by setting expectations for participation, discipline, and accountability; act as the voice of process rigor and business planning excellence.
- Lead S&OP maturity improvement initiatives, continuously enhancing process effectiveness, meeting quality, and decision impact.
- Capability Building and Stakeholder Engagement
- Coach cross-functional teams on S&OP best practices, tools, and ways of working; support onboarding of new participants.
- Build organizational capability in forecast integrity and bias reduction, scenario planning and trade-off evaluation, and risk & opportunity identification.
- Partner with COE and other S&OP Navigators to share best practices and drive global consistency.
- Build strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of direct experience in supply chain planning, S&OP, or related disciplines.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment partnering with Commercial (Sales/Marketing) and Supply Chain teams
- Experience in S&OP, demand planning, or supply planning processes
- Strong ability to influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment
- Excellent communication skills, including translating data, risks, and trade-offs into clear recommendations
- Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro)
- Proven ability to lead change and drive adoption of new processes and tools
- Strong facilitation skills to drive disciplined, outcome-oriented S&OP discussions
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Office work environment: Full time, Monday-Friday
- This role is eligible for domestic relocation.
- Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period.
