Job Description Summary Leads the Process Engineering function that interfaces with other functions to provide coordination of engine process effectiveness, enabling operations via technical and compliant means and responsible for the team's SQDIP metrics using Flightdeck. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost through Flightdeck). Site Overview: GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and performance of aviation fleets every day. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, GEESM has grown into a key hub of our global operations. It now services commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories. Employing more than 700 highly skilled local professionals and providing MRO services to more than 50 airlines worldwide, GEESM continues to exceed our customers' expectations. With our technical expertise and pioneering spirit, we elevate the flying experience to new heights. Role Overview: Directly involved in Process Engineer's manpower planning that supports production team on engine shop processes involving BSI, Disassembly, Assembly and Test. Driving SQDIP metrics for Process Engineering Team by utilizing fully the Flightdeck principles. Managing engine shop processes and finding avenues to problem solve issues along with injecting improvement opportunities. Driving cost saving initiatives by either Challenging engine process status quo or researching engine part/component historical data via CFMi salesforce or MRB review board. Lead/manage investigations to determine root causes of COQ or defects Involved in Safety Action Group initiatives that drives SMS implementation and adherence in shop. Ideal Candidate: Candidate will have a strong technical operations background managing technical issues and possess deep knowledge in process engineering. The ideal candidate should have a technical degree with at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrated background in working with multiple stakeholders. Expertise in engine process knowledge, optimization, and lean methodologies is essential, along with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). Required Qualifications: Degree in Aviation, Mechanical or relevant engineering field. Minimum 5 years of related experience.
