Role Overview As a Sr. Specialist, Software Engineering within the Enterprise IT Legal, Compliance & Security Value Team, you will support the Compliance Product Line, delivering technology solutions for the Ethics & Compliance Office (ECO). In this role, you will serve as a technical leader, initially focusing on the enterprise-wide Restricted Party Screening (RPS) program. You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting complex integrations across the enterprise landscape, owning the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for integration projects. This role demands deep expertise in MuleSoft, strong Java backend skills, hands-on experience with AWS services including Amazon Aurora RDS, and the ability to drive technical decisions that ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance. You will engage directly with stakeholders, present solutions, and manage technical expectations while collaborating closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, and the Technical Product Manager. You will also mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Over time, this role may expand to support additional programs and products across the broader Compliance Product Line. You should be ready to lead technically with a high degree of ownership, demonstrate flexibility in collaborating across time zones, and bring a deep personal investment in the success of the solutions you build. What will you do in this role - Architect, design, and implement advanced integrations between enterprise systems using MuleSoft, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance for the RPS program. - Lead and manage all phases of the SDLC for integration projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. - Serve as a technical expert, communicating complex integration concepts, presenting solutions to stakeholders, and managing technical expectations across business and IT audiences. - Apply strong Java backend expertise to build robust, high-performance integration logic and troubleshoot complex issues across the RPS integration landscape. - Manage and support AWS Aurora RDS databases supporting the RPS integration landscape, including database configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and executing data modification scripts as needed. - Integrate AI/LLM technologies to enhance automation, data processing, and intelligent decision-making within integration flows. - Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization, including developing tools and mock services to enable internal performance testing, integration testing, and solution robustness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, Product Managers, and application integration teams - to align integration solutions with business goals and technical standards. - Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure best practices in code quality, security, and compliance. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing, fostering technical growth and best practice adoption within the delivery team. - Support incident investigation and resolution, leveraging insights from support activities to identify and propose improvements and optimizations to the RPS solution. - Demonstrate extraordinary flexi
