General Worker

About the role

As a General Worker at Teesin Machinery, you will play a hands-on role in keeping our daily operations moving. We are a leading supplier and rental agency for construction equipment in Singapore. You will help ensure our warehouse is organized, our machinery is clean and ready for deployment, and our inventory flows smoothly in and out of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Handling & Preparation
• Loading & Unloading: Assist with the safe loading and unloading of construction machinery, portable tools, and parts from delivery trucks.
• Equipment Cleaning: Wash, clean, and prepare returned rental machinery (e.g., concrete mixers, grinders, power trowels, and pumps) so they are presentable and ready for the next customer.
• Basic Maintenance Support: Assist our mechanics and technicians with basic prep-work or moving heavy parts during machinery repairs.
• Warehouse & Yard Operations
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse and yard areas.
• Stock Organization: Help organize incoming stock, spare parts, and accessories onto the correct shelves and pallets.
• Delivery Assistance: Occasionally accompany drivers to construction sites to help unload equipment and hand it over to clients safely.
• Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience & Skills
• Prior experience working in a warehouse, hardware store, construction site, or mechanical workshop is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety rules.
• Core Attributes
• Physical Fitness: Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting, moving bulky equipment, and working in an industrial workshop environment.
• Attitude: Hardworking, punctual, reliable, and willing to take on a variety of manual tasks.
• Communication: Basic ability to speak and understand English and/or Mandarin to communicate with the warehouse team and follow safety instructions.
• Working Hours & Location
• Location: 11 Senoko Avenue, Singapore 758301.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Standard operating hours as per Teesin's schedule).
