Location: Hibbing, MN Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for Shift Manager Electrical Maintenance at Hibbing Taconite in Hibbing, MN. As a Shift Manager Electrical Maintenance, you will direct and coordinate the electrical/instrumentation maintenance programs associated with the plant equipment, facilities and power distribution systems. This will include direct supervision and leadership of the E&I maintenance work force toward the implementation and compliance to preventative, planned, and/or break in work schedules. They will ensure the reliability of the electrical equipment through preventative maintenance and directing maintenance personnel as needed in response to breakdowns. Summary of Responsibilities Schedules routine activities. Supervises completion of work assignments and follows established department plans Maintains general discipline of the crew in meeting the daily production, safety and quality objectives. Instructs personnel in job requirements, company rules and practices Coordinates electrical maintenance activities with different departments, assists in developing continuous improvement plans Leads employees' training and performance review programs. Improves overall production, processes and services efficiency Verify parts, tools and equipment availability to ensure efficient work execution Ensure work order discipline is adhered to and work completion documentation is kept Continuously improve E&I department by identifying deficiencies and taking appropriate actions to rectify Communicate job assignments, timing expectations, and associated tasks to all crew members Oversee E&I contractors involved in maintenance activities and projects Other duties as assigned
