Within the Customer Support Services & Training area, we are seeking a Structural Analyst for our office in Cascina Costa (VA) . Activities: Working as a Structural Analysis Engineer at our Cascina Costa site, you will have the pride of seeing your work on our product ranges, grow from a 3D concept through to installation and flight and you will play a part in the continued growth in our capability for the future. As part of the Structures Team you will be responsible for developing structural design solutions in collaboration with other engineering departments and key stakeholders, for our wide product range encompassing conventional helicopters, tilt rotors and unmanned air systems. Our analysis team supports both the UK and Italian geographies so although based in Italy there is the opportunity to work on our full product range. What you'll do as a Structural Analysis Engineer You'll be responsible for coordination, creation and delivery of varied and challenging static and dynamic analysis & test activities including airworthiness compliance documentation, concurrently engineered with the collaboration of Design/Analysis/Certification & Qualification/Manufacturing. Working at a more junior level you would be inserted in the structural team of analysts to reinforce the area capability and growth What we need from you to be a successful Structural Analysis Engineer The ability to own problems and provide pragmatic solutions to challenging timescales and budgets Experience in the analysis of engineering structures Knowledge in conventional (hand calculation) and numerical (finite element) techniques for static analysis A working knowledge of fatigue and damage tolerance Knowledge of composite materials and analysis principles Experience in using MSC NASTRAN Experience in using Altair HyperMesh (preferable) or Patran (optional) Qualifications /Requirements (soft/hard): Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university Previous proven experience in structural integrity analyses involving structural modelling and static analyses Good knowledge in structural failure criteria, fatigue analysis, dynamic analysis Knowledge of CAE tools as MSC Nastran Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. CATIA) Good interpersonal and communication skills, Team working and inclusiveness proven capabilities. Clear thinking, diligent approach and task oriented English language knowledge, written and oral (B1/B2) Seniority Junior: 1-3 years of experience Ability to work in team Problem solving oriented
