This is a 1st shift position located on-site in Reno, NV or South Portland, ME. Job Summary : Support testing and evaluation of products against global standards for energy storage systems, high-power inverters, converters, and related power electronics equipment. Execute product safety testing and support construction reviews in accordance with applicable standards and test plans. Perform grid interoperability testing, troubleshooting, data analysis, and documentation. Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external labs, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot equipment under test, identify issues, and support practical solutions while maintaining project timelines and safe work practices. Support test automation using AC/DC power sources, measurement equipment, electronic load banks, and power conversion systems. Assist with test planning, schedule tracking, Gantt charts, and project execution activities. Design, build, and use test fixtures, test equipment, and lab setups to support certification and compliance testing. Set up test configuration hardware and firmware, execute tests, and post-process test results. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to improve testing efficiency and support the certification process.
