Night Auditor

About the role

As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's overnight operations, supporting guest needs, and completing the end-of-day financial and reporting processes. You will be the key point of contact during overnight hours, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and assist guests with enquiries, requests, and overnight concerns
• Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently
• Complete the night audit process and reconcile daily transactions across all revenue centres
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue, occupancy, and incident reports for management
• Conduct property security checks and manage after-hours access
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear handovers to the morning Front Office team
• Ensure compliance with hotel procedures, health & safety standards, and company policies
• About You! You are reliable and service-focused hospitality professional who is confident working independently overnight and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Previous Front Office or hotel experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Confident using hotel management systems and basic financial processes
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential
