- Minimum Requirements for the Member of Technical Staff - System Software Engineering:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree
- 2+ years of Telemetry Technology or Engineering industry experience.
- Experience in programing languages such as Java, Python, or C#, C++.
- Familiar with Windows and Linux programming environments.
- Proven ability to take initiative and successfully complete tasks, lead complex technical projects, and collaborate effectively.
- Experience in software engineering, full lifecycle development, and advanced problem solving
- Willing to travel occasionally to work location or customer site approx. 10% of the time if required.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

The Engineering Applications Department (EAD) is seeking a Real-time Launch Operations Software and Data Engineer to develop next generation software products and integrated enterprise capabilities that provide mission support through real-time processing and archiving of launch vehicle telemetry data. You will be a member of a team building a scalable ingestion and processing data pipeline architecture. EAD supports pre-launch, day-of-launch, sub-system, and major system tests for the Atlas V, Vulcan, Blue Origin New Glenn, and SpaceX Falcon launch vehicles as a component of the Spacelift Telemetry Acquisition and Reporting System (STARS). STARS is a mission critical capability used to certify the launch readiness of DoD and NRO space systems. ISCD staff leverage cutting-edge information system technologies, including elastic compute clouds, containerization, microservices, real-time operating systems, and advanced visualization frameworks, combined with expertise in software architecture, AI, and cybersecurity to deliver high-performance systems to our Intelligence Community, DoD, and civilian customers. You will work closely with software engineers and launch vehicle analysts to engineer innovative solutions to meet our customer needs. Work Model - This is a full-time position based in El Segundo, CA, which requires 100% onsite work.
