Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Manager in managing safety, health, environmental, and welfare compliance to meet statutory and aerodrome safety standards
- Implement health, safety, and environmental controls to ensure all construction activities follow established procedures and instructions
- Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and consultants to facilitate safety compliance and communication
- Prepare and submit daily situation reports to track safety performance and site conditions
- Execute risk assessments and enforce safe working procedures on-site to mitigate hazards

- Implement and monitor safety measures in alignment with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and the Safety Management System
- Identify training and certification needs to ensure compliance with legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, and H.S.E. guidance
- Required competencies and certifications
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM
- Experience developing Risk Management Implementation Plans (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
- Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, including at least 2 years with a developer or main contractor
