Electronic Testing Technician, Shift 2

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, validation, and acceptance testing of electronic assemblies and PCBAs. - Execute test procedures, record data, and document results in accordance with internal quality standards. - Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic failures down to the component level. - Support product development, verification testing, and production testing activities. - Operate and maintain electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, signal generators, and data acquisition systems. - Assist engineers with test setup development, fixture assembly, and process improvements. - Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. - Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and quality procedures. - Identify and escalate recurring test failures or process issues. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within test operations.

Requirements

• Education:
• Relevant studies or technical training in electronics or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electronic testing within a manufacturing, industrial, or high-reliability environment. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Experience working in a regulated or high-quality manufacturing environment. - Familiarity with environmental or stress testing methods. - Experience supporting RF or high-frequency electronic systems. - Previous experience working in controlled production environments.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy of all test data and documentation. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. - Strong organizational and time-management skills in a deadline-driven environment. - High level of accountability and commitment to quality and safety.
• Technology Stack:
• Oscilloscopes - Spectrum analyzers and RF test equipment - Digital multimeters and programmable power supplies - Data acquisition (DAQ) systems - LabVIEW, Python, or other basic test automation tools - Microsoft Office Suite - Electronic documentation systems
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in a laboratory or production environment. - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing testing activities. - Manual dexterity required for handling small electronic components and connectors. - Ability to use a computer for extended periods. - Ability to wear protective equipment.
