About the role

Position: Stewarding Supervisor Job Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all stewarding, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning operations. Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to hygiene standards. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of kitchen, washing areas, storage rooms, and waste disposal areas. Assign daily tasks and oversee the performance of stewarding staff. Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety requirements. Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to support daily operational needs. Train new staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safe work practices. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report replenishment requirements. Perform hands-on cleaning and dishwashing duties when required. Job Requirements: Relevant experience in stewarding, kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, or hospitality operations. Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively. Good understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety standards. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently. Working Requirements: Must be willing to work on Sundays and Public Holidays as required by operational needs. Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
