Job Description Reporting to our Media Strategy, VP , as a Media Strategist, you are responsible for delivering innovative, effective and accountable strategies and plans to grow our clients' business. You will sit at the intersection of data, technology and creativity, translating complex briefs into high-performing cross-channel digital media plans. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Strategic Planning & Execution Cross-Channel Strategy: Lead the translation of client briefs into comprehensive cross-channel digital media plans (including programmatic, search, social and video) that deliver effective and accountable business outcomes. Audience Insights & Profiling: Conduct deep-dive audience research using demographic, psychographic and behavioural data to map out user journeys, build detailed target consumer profiles and uncover actionable insights that shape the media strategy. Planning Frameworks: Define and deliver clear budget and flighting recommendations, audience targeting strategies, performance forecasts and tactical channel allocations based on unique client objectives. Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensuring that strategies cascade down to in-channel execution and tactics. Alignment is key to ensure that a sound strategy is met with perfect execution. Trend & Landscape Analysis: Proactively monitor the digital landscape, identifying emerging trends, platform updates and publisher opportunities for upcoming campaigns. 2. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Client Advisory: Partner closely with client leads to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with client stakeholders, particularly across our regional and global accounts. Cross-Functional Integration: Lead collaboration with Jellyfish specialists across market intelligence, investment analytics and paid media teams to generate unique ideas and experiment with new methods or technologies to solve complex issues. 3. Data, Measurement & Optimisation Tool Utilisation: Leverage advanced attribution models, media mix modelling (MMM) and industry-standard audience profiling tools (specifically GWI, YouGov, Google Reach Planner and ComScore) to extract consumer insights, run competitive reports and forecast target goals. In-Flight Optimisation: Collaborate with planning and analytics teams to generate insightful real-time campaign reports with actionable optimisation recommendations while media is live. Best Practices: Work alongside activation teams to ensure planning frameworks align strictly with platform features and buying best practices.
