Food and Beverage Attendant Part Time

Requirements

• Great communication skills, presentation and confidence to engage with guests
• A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as in our local Melbourne area
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in restaurant, bar service, and events is preferred - a passion for providing great guest service is what will really make you stand out!
• The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings from 6 am, late evenings up to 10pm and on weekends and public holidays
• Flexibility to pick up shifts at short notice would be an advantage
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handler qualifications (or prepared to obtain)
• Knowledge of H+L point of sale system would be an advantage, however not mandatory as training will be provided
• You must have current working rights in Australia .

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their dining needs. Take orders accurately, make recommendations, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables. Collaborate with team members to handle guest requests and resolve any issues professionally. Adhere to hygiene and safety standards, including responsible service of alcohol Assist with event setups and functions in the conference suites and restaurant Deliver in-room dining orders
