Responsibilities
- Help expand KPFF's presence in the Madison, WI market
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset while leveraging the support, mentorship, and resources of an established, employee-owned firm
- Play a key role in building something meaningful from the ground up in an emerging market
- Grow on your existing and establish new client relationships and position KPFF as a trusted engineering partner in the region
- Contribute to both local community impact and nationally recognized engineering work
- Mentor and support the growth of future engineers and team members
- Collaborate with engineers across KPFF's national network on technically challenging nationwide projects
- Help shape the future direction, culture, and growth of the Madison office
- Professional Background
- To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred) OR Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering
- Has a personal brand in the A/E/C community and wants to leverage this to create something special, scalable, and perpetual.
- 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience
- Have demonstrated laudable management experience leading teams larger than 5 people
- Design experience across a wide range of materials, project phases, and sectors
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and growth
