Job DescriptionStarting Salary Range: $45000.00Basic Purpose : Monitors and supervises 3-5 Team Leaders and their platoons, which consist of 35-40 youth (ages 16-18) in the Thunderbird Challenge Program.Essential Functions:Under general direction, monitors and supervises 3-5 Team Leaders and their platoons, which consist of 35-40 youth (ages 16-18) in the Thunderbird Youth Academy.Maintains accountability of all platoons at all times.Maintains discipline and security within a quasi-military atmosphere and develop team oriented attitude in the cadet corps.Mentor and role model for cadets in the program.Second level counselor and problem solver for the cadets.Enforces program rules and policiesPlans resources and supervises training.Supervises and maintains support documentation as tasked to the Operations Department in accordance with NGB and TCP guidelines. Maintains personnel support documentation on staff personnel assigned, to include annual ratings.May have a rotating shift.
