Responsibilities

  • You'll coordinate service and maintenance visits, prepare job documentation in internal systems, and keep service activity organized so technicians and customers stay aligned.
  • You'll manage customer orders, quotations, order confirmations, shipping and export documentation, transport coordination, and supplier and customer invoicing related to service activities with accuracy and timely follow-through.
  • You'll handle customer inquiries and support daily coordination across service, planning, purchasing, and customer-facing activities to improve responsiveness and support the growth of our Services business.
  • You'll maintain complete and reliable data across orders, service activities, and administrative records so follow-up and internal communication stay dependable.
  • TEAM:
  • You'll join a small, pragmatic and close-knit team where people help each other and communicate directly.
  • You'll work daily with planning, purchasing, and customer support, and support teams - both locally and internationally - in an open and down-to-earth atmosphere.
  • THE EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED:
  • To succeed in this role, you'll bring structure, responsiveness, and a practical customer-focused mindset:
  • Vocational or higher professional education, or equivalent experience, in customer service, administration, sales support, business support, or a related field.
  • Experience in customer service, sales support, administration, service coordination, logistics, or a similar operational environment, ideally in a technical or industrial setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, keep track of details, and follow through on day-to-day actions.
  • Comfortable working with business systems and daily Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams across functions.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both of which are essential in daily work.
  • Accurate and reliable when handling orders, quotations, invoices, shipping documentation, and service-related administrative records.
  • A hands-on, proactive, and team-oriented approach, with the flexibility to adapt quickly and the ownership to keep things moving.

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you'll help Bakon , a Coperion brand - part of Hillenbrand, strengthen customer responsiveness and support the growth of our Services activity from Goes , the Netherlands, with occasional remote work possible. Bakon designs and builds bakery equipment and production lines used by food producers worldwide. From our site in Goes, you'll operate in a practical, international SME environment , working closely with different teams and seeing the direct impact of your work every day. This is an urgent hire, and we're open to different backgrounds that can bring immediate value through accuracy, initiative, and responsiveness.
