Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Asian American CRE clients, including investors, developers, and business owners.
- Originate, structure, and manage commercial real estate loans, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify market trends and business opportunities within the Asian American community, developing strategies to grow the CRE portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized financial solutions and ensure seamless client experiences.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for Asian American clients, providing guidance on banking products, services, and industry best practices.
- Represent Piermont Bank at community events, industry conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and attract new business.
- Prepare reports on portfolio performance, client activity, and market developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in commercial real estate lending or relationship management, preferably with exposure to the Asia American market.
- Strong knowledge of CRE products, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in an Asian language (such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Vietnamese) strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Asian American business culture and community dynamics.
