Responsibilities Represent clients in probate litigation cases including will contests, trust disputes, and estate administration conflicts. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents related to probate matters. Advise clients on their rights and obligations under Florida probate law and related regulations. Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions to efficiently resolve probate disputes. Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective case strategies tailored to client needs and case specifics. Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials in probate courts. Maintain accurate and organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing. Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing probate litigation or estate law. Strong knowledge of Florida probate statutes, trust law, and estate administration procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively in court. Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal cases and multiple client matters simultaneously. High ethical standards, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive family and estate issues with discretion. $120,000-$200,000 - The total compensation range, including bonus opportunities, will be based on the candidate's years of experience.
