You will work closely with our Global Category Lead of Networks and Connectivity to drive change and work in innovative ways to help achieve the department's objectives The successful individual will support the business in reaching a Global Procurement supply side market value add category approach. The role involves strong engagement with cross functional stakeholders to obtain sponsorship and 'buy' into the regional/global category sourcing plan with demonstrable business benefits, whilst leading initiatives and driving deadline. Job description Identifies, negotiates & delivers Total Cost of Ownership improvement opportunities across category. Identifies and executes improvements in related processes. Apply best practice to eliminate unnecessary duplication and complexity across multiple Products/ Solutions. Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to issue Category RFPs. Demonstrates execution. Communicates extensively with internal and external stakeholders Supports our Legal Procurement team, in the creation & development of Framework Contracts to comply with regional/global requirements. Support internal stakeholders in the management of the supplier relationship to drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the end to end process. Complete of on-boarding 'due diligence' for new Suppliers, and approves new Supplier creation requests. Responsible for allocated Supplier Relationships and Supplier ranking and risk measures. Creates and maintains long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster two-way feedback (Supplier Relationship Management) Actively manages and optimizes supplier performance, including continuous improvement in quality, service, and delivery, integrating innovations, obsolescence and reduction in total cost of ownership. Share Intelligent Sourcing data and Supplier Delivery & Relationship Performance with Stakeholders. Performs supplier ranking scores & applies risk mitigation strategies. Tracks target deliverables including contract awards, suppliers created / de-activated, supplier relationship performance, cost savings, and cash release. Provides monthly reports
