RESPEC seeks a Engineer-In-Training in our Land Development sector, located in San Antonio, TX or Castroville, TX. The Engineer (EIT) position is intended for a broad land development and public works professional, with experience across site civil design, permitting, and project delivery. Strong stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise is preferred to support cross-discipline projects, but the role is not limited to stormwater-only practice. Required: Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification or have the ability to obtain within a year of employment 4 years of relevant land development engineering experience in the following areas: Private-sector commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development Preparing engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittals Working within small to mid-sized design teams Providing land development engineering services in Texas Knowledgeable of stormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standards Practical application of various software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Hydraflow Express, Bentley storm suites and other common hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
