Responsibilities

  • Vendor management: Serve as primary liaison between Ferring and associated vendor(s). Anticipate and address program challenges with urgency. Work closely with vendor(s) to track and meet or exceed all program KPIs including call volumes, wait times, benefits investigation turnaround times, etc.
  • Budgeting: Support Patient Access Sr. Director with developing, maintaining and meeting all program budget requirements. Assist with forecasting that drives program staffing and budget needs. Provide Sr. Director with timely alerts regarding potential budget overages.
  • FRM: Support Patient Access Sr. Director with management of Field Reimbursement Manager team. Maintain open lines of communication between FRM team and vendor(s) as appropriate. Train FMRs on any associated program operations, processes and program details.
  • Support Sr. Director, Patient Access on new program launches. Assist with Request for Proposals (RfPs), as required. Provide input to strategic planning for access and reimbursement support services and developing key requirements.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Familiarity with buy and bill process
  • Demonstrated depth with access and reimbursement support services
  • Experience with vendor oversight and management
  • Understanding of legal/regulatory/compliance requirements of patient support programs
  • Experience working with or managing Field Reimbursement Manage

Associate Director interacts regularly with brand teams and other internal functional areas including account management team, Field Reimbursement Managers, finance, legal, safety, quality, training and others as needed.
