About the role
Reporting to the Lead, Health and Safety, the Senior Coordinator, Safety is responsible for the administration and coordination of EVR's safety programs. This position will be responsible for supporting the regional contractor management and health & safety programs, focused on ensuring Health and Safety of employees and contractors. Salary range: 90,000 CAD / year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity. Requirements
- High school Diploma
- Degree in Health & Safety, a CRSP/NCSO/CSP or equivalent designation, or in process of attaining is an asset
- Health and Safety program management, development, and execution experience is required
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Confident and able to engage with contractors and workers in a professional and constructive manner
- Knowledgeable in behavior-based safety and training programs
- Ability to influence organizational behavior within an industrial setting
- Strong digital literacy in Microsoft Office Suite®
- Minimum three years as a health and safety professional, industrial experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
