About the role
This isn't your average marketing role. As Marketing Manager at IMBA, you will help shape how audiences experience our exhibitions, programmes, venue activations, and brand universe. Beyond running campaigns, you'll play a key role in building cultural relevance, audience engagement, and commercial visibility across everything we do. You'll work across exhibitions, immersive experiences, public programming, partnerships, events, and venue activations, collaborating closely with creative, content, operations, and leadership teams to ensure the IMBA brand is consistently experienced both online and on-ground. Responsibilities
- Campaigns & Brand Activations
- Lead and execute 360° marketing campaigns across digital, experiential, partnerships, and on-ground channels
- Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and execution flow from planning to launch
- Work closely with content, design, programming, and ops teams to ensure alignment across all activations
- Support creative ideation, campaign storytelling, and audience engagement strategies
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all touchpoints
- Social Media & Digital Presence
- Oversee IMBA's day-to-day social media presence across platforms including Instagram, XHS, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and community management initiatives
- Coordinate content rollouts, scheduling, and platform strategy with the content/creative teams
- Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimise content and campaign effectiveness
- Programming, Exhibitions & Venue Activations
- Support the marketing and rollout of exhibitions, immersive experiences, workshops, public programmes, and venue activations
- Coordinate campaign communications before, during, and after events, including media previews, social coverage, partnerships, and documentation
- Work alongside programming and operations teams to ensure strong audience turnout and smooth activation execution
- Support ticketing, and venue promotional initiatives where required
- Partnerships & Outreach
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with brands, creators, media, schools, communities, and collaborators
- Support sponsorship and cross-promotional opportunities where relevant
- Maintain strong relationships with agencies, media contacts, partners, and stakeholders
- Reporting & Operations
- Track and report on campaign performance, audience insights, engagement metrics, and ROI
- Support budget tracking, vendor coordination, and marketing administration where required
- Maintain organised marketing trackers, campaign decks, reports, and asset management systems
- Preferred Attributes
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing, brand, communications, events, or cultural programming
- Strong interest in arts, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, or immersive experiences
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and campaign ideation abilities
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple moving projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup-style environment with evolving priorities
- Familiarity with social media management tools, email marketing platforms, and digital reporting tools
- Bonus: Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photography/videography, or short-form content creation
