Engineering Technician

About the role

You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Branch, Public Works Department Oceana of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing contract documents for FSC contracts for the maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of property and equipment; 2) Participating in acquisition planning conferences to advise on scope of work; 3) Providing written and verbal status updates for assigned projects; 4) Using various computer software packages to prepare specifications, make cost estimates, prepare schedules and track quantities.
