As a supervisor at AFB, you will set goals for your team that comply with schedules, organize workflow, delegate tasks, train your direct reports as well as new hires, and find ways for your team to be successful and comply with AFB's vision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Confirm operators are working safely, adhering to all policies and procedures Ensure correct orders are run in a timely manner in the order that makes most sense to the business in Liquid and Dry Ensure operators are following procedures to reduce quality errors Verify IFS is up-to-date, correct, and all shop orders are closed out Fill out an incident report if a situation occurs that violates policy and/or procedure Report out shift notes every work day Daily Schedule adherence utilizing Visual Management, IFS and hour-by-hour document Daily Visual Management updating Inventory counts daily Work with Maintenance to ensure equipment runs properly COVID 19 safe workplace playbook adherence Delegation of daily work to each report including hour by hour creation Training of all employees on new rules and regulations and equipment, as well as new hires Help to resolve issues and disputes Evaluate performance and provide feedback Lead your team by example Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Production Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
