About the role

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Product Design to lead Foundations Design at Jobber. This is a player-coach role. As a Senior Manager, Product Design, you will: Lead design for Jobber's Foundations team, shaping the systems that support scalable, consistent product experiences. Manage and support a small team of designers through coaching, feedback, and career development. Work as a player-coach, contributing directly to component design, interaction patterns, documentation, and system improvements. Partner closely with engineering to evolve the architecture, quality, and scalability of Jobber's design system and platform foundations. Collaborate with product designers across the organization to identify gaps, prioritize improvements, and make sure the system supports real product needs. Champion consistency, accessibility, and usability across Jobber's product experiences. Help drive adoption of the design system by building strong relationships with product teams and making the system practical and valuable to use. Contribute to planning and prioritization for the team, including sprint work and roadmap direction. Refine the long-term vision for Foundations in a way that supports Jobber's product strategy and growth. Improve workflows, documentation, and tooling so teams can build more efficiently. By creating and evolving shared components, interaction patterns, and standards, the team helps product teams move faster without sacrificing quality, usability, or consistency.
