Job Title: Social Worker - West Locality Team Location: Hexham Pay Rate: £26.08 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel it recruiting a social worker for it client's West Locality Team located at Hexham , Northumberland. Welcome to the West Locality Social Work Team, based in the scenic market town of Hexham. Our client is a friendly, supportive team committed to delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and their families across Northumberland. As a Social Worker in their team, you will play a vital role in providing statutory support and intervention to families in need. You'll work flexibly between home and office, receive regular supervision and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues in a positive and inclusive environment. What will your responsibilities be? Deliver a statutory social work service to children, young people, and their families in line with current legislation and Northumberland County Council procedures. Provide direct social work intervention to support children and families in crisis or at risk of breakdown, helping them remain safely within their family or with identified carers. Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews, ensuring that the voice of the child is central to all decision-making. Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies to develop and implement effective support plans. Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports in line with professional standards. Participate in regular supervision and reflective practice with your line manager. Contribute to a positive team culture, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues as needed.
