Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching across our Kubernetes clusters and in cluster services to ensure stability and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and participating in incident/problem management processes.

  • Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing and supporting infrastructure in a Public Cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong operational experience with Kubernetes in a production environment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • A solid understanding of Linux system administration.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform.
  • Experience working in an operational context, including an understanding of incident management and on-call responsibilities.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience with Kubernetes in-cluster services like Ingress Controllers (e.g., Traefik, Ingress NGINX), Cert Manager, and a Service Mesh (eg. Istio).
  • Software development or scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash).
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Understanding of Agile/Kanban methodologies.

Let's create something incredible together! We're looking for a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform Infrastructure Operations Team in Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational health, maintenance, and reliability of the Kubernetes infrastructure and in-cluster services that underpin Anaplan's SaaS product offering. You will focus on maintaining the stability and performance of our large-scale production environments. This includes participating in on-call rotations, responding to incidents, performing essential maintenance, and supporting our developer teams with Kubernetes related queries and asks. This is a hands-on role where you will work with a broad range of modern infrastructure technologies to ensure our platform is secure, resilient, and efficient. This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
