- Lead integration of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) for containerized workloads.
- Ensure automated build, test, and deployment processes for Kubernetes environments.
- Promote DevOps best practices and continuous delivery models.
- Advanced Technical Support & Operations
- Work independently to resolve escalated incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.
- Provide fourth-level support for complex Kubernetes, container, and cloud-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
- Act as escalation point for critical business-impacting incidents.
- Proactively identify issues and drive preventive measures.
- Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure delivery of contracted managed services outcomes and operational excellence.
- Support, track, and document change implementation activities.
- Drive automation initiatives to optimize operations and reduce manual effort.
- Conduct quality audits and improve service delivery processes.
- Support disaster recovery planning and operational readiness for container platforms.
- Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership
- Engage with stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Mentor and coach L1-L3 engineers and Kubernetes engineers, building team capability.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud, networking, security, and DevOps.
- Support project delivery activities alongside operational responsibilities.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of overall infrastructure/platform engineering experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure container platforms.
- Strong expertise in:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Kubernetes administration and architecture
- Docker and containerization
- Helm charts and ingress controllers
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, etc.)
