Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Instrumentation Engineer in Engineering services for facilitating user and functional requirement specifications, overseeing technical evaluations, and ensuring adherence to safety standards in the implementation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems across various projects. Roles & Responsibilities You will be responsible to prepare/ Facilitate User Requirement, Functional requirement specifications, design documents and Technical Evaluation of new Equipment/instruments. You will be responsible to Develop basic engineering designs and layout drawings that align with project requirements and standards. You will be responsible to prepare accurate and comprehensive Bill of Material (BOM) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on the technical specifications and requirements and ensure that the BOM and BOQ are aligned with the project budget and timeline. You will be responsible to Initiate purchase requests based on the Bill of Material (BOM) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and facilitate the documentation process for purchase orders and ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained. You will be responsible to Oversee construction works to ensure that they adhere to the project's design and specifications. Implement and enforce safety compliance measures at construction sites. You will be responsible for Project Execution, Scheduling, and Coordination with Maintenance teams for shutdown activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations. You will be collaborating with project teams to process commissioning reports and prepare comprehensive handover documents also maintain accurate and transparent financial management of the project. You will be responsible for execution of projects adhering to Engineering Quality Requirements and Standards. Organize training sessions to educate personnel on safety protocols and best engineering practices. You will be responsible for Site -Lab and Facility Audits & Inspections, You will be responsible to Assist in the preparation and coordination of safety documentation such as risk assessments, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and job safety analyses (JSA). You will be responsible for Safety Implementation and Contractor Safety Management. Also Conduct regular safety risk assessments on facilities, systems, and equipment to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks. You will be responsible to collaborate with safety work streams to implement comprehensive safety standards that align with industry best practices. Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical/ Instrumentation Minimum work experience: 5-7 years of experience Skills & attributes: Technical Skills Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in using project management tools. Experience in Technical Writing Proficiency in using AutoCAD and other design software Understanding of budgeting principles and experience in managing budgets for engineering projects. Knowledge of construction management software. Understanding of RA (Risk Assessment), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and JSA (Job Safety Analysis). Behavioural Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive in Nature. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with own team and cross-functional teams. Ability to conduct training sessions.
