Responsibilities

  • The Senior Director, Administration - Plant serves as the senior on-site Administration leader for Scout Motors' South Carolina production facility and is responsible for the performance, integration, and execution of key Administration functions supporting manufacturing operations.

  • Provide integrated leadership across Environmental Health & Safety, Security & Fire Protection, and Workplace Operations functions supporting the production facility.
  • Ensure Administration functions effectively support production objectives, operational readiness, employee experience, and business continuity.
  • Partner closely with plant and corporate leadership to align priorities, resources, and performance expectations.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for significant Administration-related issues impacting plant operations.
  • Organizational Leadership & Performance
  • Lead, develop, and manage plant-based teams within assigned functions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive performance through effective resource allocation, budget management, and disciplined execution.
  • Coach leaders and managers to effectively balance operational priorities with enterprise standards and functional expectations.
  • Governance , Risk & Compliance
  • Partner with corporate functional leaders to ensure alignment on priorities, budget & resource requirements, compliance obligations, and long-term capability development.
  • Resolve conflicts between plant operational requirements and enterprise functional expectations through collaboration and appropriate escalation.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance obligations are understood, appropriately managed, and effectively supported across the facility.
  • Exercise appropriate authority to address conditions that present significant safety, security, compliance, or operational risks, including escalation of recommendations regarding operational restrictions or shutdowns , if warranted.
