- Required Qualifications
- Education & Background
- PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Quantum Engineering, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering , or a closely related field
- 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience in one or more of the following: Quantum computing research Quantum and photonics technologies Ultrafast / femtosecond laser systems Quantum hardware development Experimental physics or advanced instrumentation roles
- Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of: Quantum computing fundamentals (quantum gates, circuits, and algorithms such as VQE, QAOA, Grover's, Shor's)Quantum noise, decoherence, and error‑mitigation concepts
- Hands‑on experience with experimental systems, including: Cryogenic or low‑temperature systemsRF/microwave or optical control systems Femtosecond lasers, ultrafast optics, pulse characterization, and beam delivery Photonic quantum devices and PIC platforms
- Proficiency in Python and experience with at least one quantum or scientific framework: Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, Perceval, Quantify, or similar
- Familiarity with instrumentation and control stacks such as: Zurich Instruments, Qblox, Keysight, or equivalent platforms Automation tools (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB)
- Strong ability to translate complex physics and photonics concepts into clear, customer‑relevant value
