Senior Financial Accountant Bucharest, Romania Your new role As our new Senior Financial accountant, you will be part of Central European Finance & Administration team. Our team is vibrant, innovative, international and supportive. You will be managing CE organization, such as Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherland, Portugal or any other new countries Company I the region, you will support Team abroad and collaborate with colleagues from different countries . Your key responsibilities will be: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Be responsible for monthly and yearly closure of books of accounts as per Group calendar and deadlines Prepare and submit all required tax filings and ensure compliance with all tax laws (including VAT, WHT and statistical reports, among others)... Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors Ensure compliance to internal Group policies relating to finance functions and fulfil internal requirement such as Cash forecast Coordinate Finance Shares Service Centre in India, supporting queries, having regular dialogue, finding opportunities improvement, managing the performance of relevant teams through feedback and analysis if processes and with other key functions in Ramboll - Group Treasury, Group Tax, transformation team, Group Audit etc Manage non standard F&A transactions Represent F&A in integration process of new acquired company with presence in Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherland, Portugal Integrate and harmonize financial systems (ERP, accounting software) across the acquired entities, ensuring smooth data flow and reporting Ensure clear communication with key stakeholders Ensure the successful implementation of new software or tools in compliance with local regulations Support the regional standardization projects as needed About you Fluent in both written and spoken English, Italian or French would be a plus Degree or bachelor's in economics, finance or similar At least 8-10 years experience in the role and in a multinational company In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS would be a plus) Confident using ERP software and working with international teams Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills Very good ability in time management, problem solving and precision What we can offer you Commitment to your development Leaders guided by our Leadership Principles A culture that welcomes you as the unique person you are Inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company Flexible work environment Ready to join us?
