JOB DETAILS Base Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Shift: Days Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient movement and storage of materials to support the business needs of the manufacturing operation. Loads and unloads trucks with inbound and outbound materials. Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and damage. Accurately record material movements in the inventory management system. Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks using PIVs. Report inventory levels, material shortages, and other issues to Supervisors. Performs all functions according to sound safety principles and company policies and procedures. Inspect equipment daily, per guidelines, prior to use. Completes all necessary paperwork and documentation neatly, timely, and accurately, including quality reports, timecards, etc. Enters data and maintains computer record information as directed. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a team-oriented work environment. Communicates effectively across and within company departments. Maintains good housekeeping in the department. Monitors product constantly to assure quality standards are being met and rejects product that does not meet quality standards. All other duties as assigned.
