Responsibilities
- Works with the Energy/Operations Supervisor to maintain and improve the building automation systems. Monitors, tests, and repairs the building HVAC and automation systems and components to ensure proper operation.
- Promote energy conservation in our facilities. Involve all personnel in taking ownership for success of the program
- Respond to work orders assigned to the Energy/Operation group
- Initiate required repairs associated with the building automation systems and HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and associated mechanical systems
- Assist the Energy Supervisor in developing procedures to consistently test and maintain critical components in the building automation system(s)
- Monitor building automation systems with a proactive approach to resolving system issues.
- Maintain repair/replacement part stock and ensure critical components are always on-hand
- Assist the Energy Supervisor with tasks requiring field assistance or system monitoring
- On-call after hours and weekend monitoring of state facilities is required on a rotating basis. Emergency on-site responses are sometimes required.
