Requirements

• You are able to work in English, but don't need to be a native speaker
• You are an exceptional writer who can demonstrate your skills through past experience and/or our skills test
• You play games, are passionate about storytelling in games, and always put the player experience first
• You have worked in a production or deadline-driven environment before
• You seek feedback proactively, think critically about your own work, and are continuously working to improve your craft
• You are able to write a range of interesting and believable characters, and to look for the unexpected angle in their stories
• You are collaborative, and can demonstrate an ability to work well with others
• You have experience pitching your ideas to others

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Writer to join the team and help us continue to craft the high quality games our fans expect. At Larian, a Writer is not just a dialogue writer, but a storyteller, a scene designer, a collaborator, and at heart - a player. They work closely with other creatives to deliver the breadth and richness of agency that we want to experience in games, and to give players the choices that make them ask "Are they really going to allow me to do that?!" Only to discover that not only did we allow it, we built a whole alternative story path out of it.
