Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple account teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for all aspects of client accounts, ensuring scientific integrity and executional excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Drive organic account growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support for career growth.
  • Manage account financials, developing realistic forecasts and ensuring profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (scientific, editorial, creative) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Champion breakthrough creative and innovative program development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and therapeutic market dynamics, providing strategic insights to clients.
  • Lead and participate in new business pitches.

Requirements

  • A results-oriented leader with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the medical education and communications landscape.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Account Manager in medical communications, with at least 2-3 years specifically in medical education.
