Solution Architect (Supply Chain & Automation)

Responsibilities

• Connect IoT sensors, RFID devices, computer vision systems, and autonomous robotics (AGVs/AMRs) into enterprise platforms
• Deliver automation capabilities such as intelligent storage systems, guided picking solutions, and robotic operations with stable data integration
• Build secure separation models between operational technology and IT systems to enable safe monitoring and support
• Design and implement digital tools for logistics operations including tracking systems, reporting dashboards, and workflow automation
• Develop full-stack applications using modern frameworks and languages such as React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, and Python
• Create system integrations between core enterprise platforms like ERP, WMS, and automation controllers via APIs
• Operate DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud hosting environments
• Assess and introduce low-code development platforms for faster delivery of prototypes and business solutions
• Establish and maintain overall system architecture across supply chain, warehouse, and transport functions
• Design hybrid cloud and integration ecosystems using Azure, VMware-based platforms, and API management services
• Build data processing flows and reporting models to support operational analytics and performance visibility (e.g., Power BI)
• Facilitate technical governance through architecture reviews, solution validation, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 7-10 years' experience in software engineering or IT architecture
• Experience with WMS, SAP, ERP, CMS, and IoT/automation systems
• Knowledge of PLC/WCS/WES and protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus
• Strong cloud experience (Azure or AWS), containerization, and API security
• Proficient in .NET Core, Node.js, Java, Python, React/Angular
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for analytics
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Certifications (ITIL, Azure Architect, CISSP) are an advantage
