Software Test Engineer

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Communications, Electronics, or related fields. Location: Living in Malaysia for a long time. Experience: 1+ years of experience in software testing or automated test script. Technical Skills:
• Familiar with software testing methods, tools, and processes, with experience in test case design.
• Use AI-assisted tools and solutions across the software testing lifecycle to significantly improve delivery efficiency.
• Use AI-assisted tools maintain and optimize automated testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Robot Framework) to improve test stability and reusability.
• Perform API, performance, security, and compatibility testing; analyze findings and isolate root causes.
• Contribute to test data construction and management to support AI model validation and regression testing.
• Proficient in interface testing and automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium, Postman, JMeter).
• Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) with basic database knowledge.
• Personal Skills:
• Able to work independently, adept at summarizing, and possess strong documentation skills.
• Strong observation and analytical skills, with hands-on capabilities and a proactive approach to technical research.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, can spoke Mandarin. (required for cross-border team collaboration).
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a plus. Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, and data analytics systems.
