The AWS Worldwide Public Sector Legal team is looking for a talented attorney to fill the position of Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services, a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. Amazon Web Services is at the forefront of the cloud computing and service industry, providing IT services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services and more. This attorney will support our AWS's public sector sales teams by negotiating, drafting, and advising on a wide range of procurement, technology licensing, and compliance matters involving public sector customers worldwide, with special emphasis on public sector resellers, distributors, and systems integrators that sell to U.S. Federal, State, and local Government customers. This candidate will have knowledge of general laws relating to government contracting and experience negotiating and drafting technology licensing agreements with government customers. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and comfortably while making decisions in ambiguous situations.
