We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to support and develop our Photon Counting Detector production. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of assembly-based production and mechanical engineering, with the ability to translate development needs into improved processes and design changes. In this role, you will take ownership of assembly-related production equipment, ensuring robust operation and effective tool development. Responsibilities also include making minor mechanical design changes to products using a CAD system and maintaining production instructions by keeping content up to date and implementing changes to assembly instructions. Job Description Your role - Support and develop production processes. - Own and develop assembly related production tools. - Engineer minor mechanical changes to final products. - Maintaining and training process instructions for production operators. - Close co-operation with both R&D and production. - Other manufacturing engineering related tasks. Experience that will enable your success - Production support and development experience. - BSc or MSc education in mechanical engineering or relevant experience. - CAD Experience, Solidworks experience is an asset. - Experience about working under ISO9001 or ISO13485 quality management system. - Well-organized, able to manage multiple tasks, calm under pressure. - Good communication and documentation skills in both English, Finnish is a plus. - Understanding about manufacturability. - Hands-on attitude, ability to work independently.
