This position is to provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate records of accounts receivable under his or her control.
Responsibilities
- Daily bank reconciliations including foreign currency accounts in Workday.
- Preparation of daily banking journals, adhoc bank transactions for entry into the general ledger.
- Processing of daily bank credits, receipting and maintaining customer accounts in MYOB.
- Investigation of unknown receipts, liaising with the bank and RSM office managersf to identify where these should be recorded in the general ledger/debtors ledger;
- Performing monthly reconciliations of debtor balances between Workday and MYOB receipts for a month and liaising with key RSM staff to resolve discrepancies.
- Daily cashflow analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Manage the Accounts Receivable e-mail inbox to ensure timely responses to queries;
- Responsible for recovery of invoices issued to ex-employee invoices for any excess payments/ recoups and coordinating actively with People culture team.
- Continued documentation and updating of Accounts Receivable processes;
- Cross-skilling with other areas within Group Finance; and
- Share knowledge with team members through effective communication.
- Develop, maintain working relationships with multiple office manager and people culture team.

- Education Requirements:
- Essential
- Certificate/ Diploma in accounting/ bookkeeping (Completion of Year 12 mentioned earlier)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Demonstrated Experience & Attributes
- Essential
- Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role/ accounting role.
- Good in organising and process oriented for any follow-up within and outside RSM.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exposure to coding invoices
- Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Strong problem solving and query resolution skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Desirable
- ERP knowledge : Workday and MYOB experience would be an added advantage.
