Job Duties: As a Developmental Technician you will: Assist individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with day-to-day supports. Perform and/or monitor individual's personal hygiene care such as toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing. Maintain an active environment to expand individuals' skills. Follow individualized written plans for behavioral training. Document information related to individual activities, supports, adverse reactions, etc. Administer medication and treatment to individuals. Participate in discussions with interdisciplinary team members about how to best support individuals. Monitor physical environment and take necessary action to ensure safety, sanitary environment and compliance with State and Federal Standards. Recognize emergencies and take appropriate steps to resolve the situation. Accompany individuals into the community on trips, leisure, or medical appointments.
