Job Description: This individual will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies. This specific position will also have a dedicated focus in assisting the project's Commissioning team. The objective is to educate the employee in field and office operations while working from a construction project site for a minimum of six months and preferably for the duration of an entire construction project. Some things you can expect to do: General Construction Help generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals. Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination. Learn project dimensional control requirements while field verifying dimensions to back check the shop drawing approval process. Assist in the coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries. Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures. Gain an understanding for overall site logistics. Participate in and gain an understanding of the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process. Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs. Accompany Ryan personnel (and Owner) on Punchlist inspections, record Punchlist items and monitor completion of Punchlist work. Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule. Commissioning Assist Cx Manager in creating and managing a detailed commissioning schedule. Assist Cx Manager in resolving critical commissioning issues. Manage critical equipment deliveries to the project site. Learn and develop knowledge of critical MEP infrastructure for data center buildings. Assist the field team in quality and commissioning walkthroughs or inspections. Manage commissioning documentation control through communication with client, trade partners, and internal project team. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field. 1+ year of experience in commercial construction. Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects. You will really stand out if you: Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing. Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems. Have experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore).
